Interstate Removals - the Covid Guide

During this uncertain time, it is only natural to wonder if now it’s the best time to move, or if perhaps it would be best to postpone your plans until the COVID-19 pandemic is over. Whatever you decide, we’ll be there to support you and your family.


We understand that now it’s the perfect time to hit pause in your very busy life, taking it easy and spend more time at home with your loved ones. Nonetheless, we also know that there are some events in life that cannot wait. At Prime Transport Group, we want to emphasize to the public that we are still open for business and moving forward.


As a transport and logistics company, our services are considered essential at this time, so we are able to provide the same quality assistance to all our clients, but also taking extra safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.


In order to keep our clients and staff safe, we conducted a risk assessment to evaluate the work health and safety risks from the current virus, and put in place the appropriate measures to control those risks.

The three safety measures that we want to underline as a helpful guide:


  • Physical distancing: We are currently working with the limit of two people on deliveries, to avoid any physical contact while driving, on top of the regulatory distance of 1.5m at all times.

  • Hygiene standards: We reinforce the use of hand sanitizer throughout the entire journey, as well as routine washing of hands with antibacterial soap. The use of masks is strongly recommended too, in order to avoid the spread of germs through the air.

  • Cleaning measures: Our staff is ensuring the regular cleaning and disinfecting of trucks and equipment to avoid the risk of exposure to COVID-19.


Despite all the safety measures we are implementing this year, we are unfortunately unable to deliver or collect any household goods if you and your family are isolated at home under quarantine restrictions. Our top priority right now is to ensure a safe working environment for both you and our team. We are always able to reschedule your moving services for another time, once self-isolation is over, at no additional cost.
